As of the 31st of August, Telangana has 17,691 vacant beds for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 patients.
On the night of the 30th of August, the Telangana Health Department, issued a media bulletin reporting the beds availability and COVID-19 updates.
In Government hospitals across the State, there are 5,247 vacant beds available while the total number of beds available in private hospitals are 4,822.
Beds in Government hospitals and private teaching hospitals:
Isolation beds: 12, 284 (available,) 721 (occupied) and 11, 563 (vacant.)
Oxygen Beds: 5,861 (available, ) 1,273 (occupied) and 4,588 (vacant.)
ICU beds: 2,251 (available, ) 711 (occupied) and 1,540 (vacant.)
Total: 20, 396 (available, ) 2,705 (occupied) and 17,691 (vacant.)
Beds in only Government Hospitals:
Regular isolation beds: 2,055 (total,) 721 (occupied) and 1,334 (vacant.)
Beds with Oxygen supply: 4,673 (total,) 1,273 (occupied) and 3,400 (vacant.)
ICU beds with ventilators: 1,224 (total,) 711 (occupied) and 513 (vacant.)
Total: 7,952 (total,) 2,705 (occupied) and 5,247 (vacant.)
Beds in private hospitals:
Regular isolation beds: 3,276 (total,) 1,503 (occupied) and 1,773 (vacant.)
Beds with Oxygen supply: 4,054 (total,) 2,061 (occupied) and 1,993 (vacant.)
ICU beds with ventilators: 1,870 (total,) 814 (occupied) and 1,056 (vacant.)
Total: 9,200 (total,) 4, 378 (occupied) and 4,822 (vacant.)
Meanwhile, Telangana has a total of 1,24,963 positive cases, of which 31,299 are positive cases, with 1,849 recoveries, 92,837 are recovered/discharged cases and 827 are deceased.
