Telangana Education Department Makes Arrangements For SSC Exams

The Telangana Education department, which is scheduled to conduct the remaining papers of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations is making the arrangements for the exams.

The Directorate of Government Examinations recently announced to conduct the pending SSC exams from the 8th of June.  The announcement was made after the Telangana High Court gave a green signal to conduct the exams following social distancing and norms of the nation wide lockdown.

The exams were postponed due to the nation wide lockdown which was announced from the 24th of March.

However, after 2 long months, the State is finally conducting the remaining examinations for approximately 39,949 SSC students in Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial and Asifabad districts.

In regard to this, the State Education department arranged nearly 326 examination centres in four districts.

All the candidates appearing for the examination would be allowed to enter the hall after a thermal check and should be with face masks.  Sanitiser is mandatory in every room of the examination hall.

The number of students would be divided into districts wise.  While 10,081 students would be in Adilabad’s 96 examination centres, 10,027 students would be in Nirmal district’s 71centres.   In Mancherial district, there are 11481 students and 113 examination centres were arranged and in Asifabad 7,622 students would appear for exams in 46 centres.

Approximately 51 chief superintendents, 51 department officers, 55 additional officers and 982 invigilators were assigned to conduct the exams in Adilabad.  In  Nirmal district, 980 staff were appointed, in Mancherial 1,970 staff were assigned examination duties.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) recently, on the 4th of June, conducted the second year examination in Geography and Modern Language Paper- II.

Approximately 834 students out of 861 candidates registered for the examination and attended the examinations with an attendance of 96.87 %.
