A student of class 10th attempted suicide, on the morning of the 20th of March at Lingampally area of Hyderabad, Telanagna.
The student who tried to kill himself, jumped off of a building. However, he escaped with a few injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. According to an initial investigation, the student who was appearing for the SSC Board exams was worried and tense, took this extreme step.
This is the second such case reported in the past few days. Recently, a Intermediate stutdent also committed suicide due to mental disturbance during the ongoing exams.
This year, more than 5 lakh students are appearing for the intermediate and 10th Board exams in Telangana. The exams are scheduled to continue till the 23rd of March.
