The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government is all set to conduct a Cabinet meeting on the 2nd of November.
The urgent Cabinet meeting was organised in view of the ongoing tussle between the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees and the TRS Government.
The TSRTC employees are on a strike against the State Government due to their unfulfilled demands, including the merging of the TSRTC with the State Government. The strike started on the 5th of October and entered its 28th day on the 2nd of November.
On the 2nd of November, the TRS Cabinet ministers are expected to discuss the matter and take a few key decisions regarding the same.
Since K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, refused to accept the demands of the TSRTC employees, the State Cabinet ministers would discuss alternative transport arrangements.
The other major topics expected to be discussed are the Municipal elections, the proposed Revenue Act, procurement of Kharif crops and the ban on single use plastic.
The Cabinet meeting is expected to begin at 3:00 P.M., at Pragati Bhavan, Telangana.
