On the 1st of July, K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, announced the distribution of new Ration Cards.
Mr. Rama Rao laid the foundation stone for the Gram Panchayat office in the Rajapet area of Rajanna Sircilla district today, the 1st of July. The foundation stone for the new office was laid under the recently launched palle pragathi programme in the State.
During the event, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister addressed the media and said, the State Government would begin the White Ration Card distribution to the eligible people from next week, Monday, the 5th of July.
In addition to the new Ration cards, the K. Chandrashekar Rao Government would also give Aasara pensions for people above 57 years.
Speaking on the occasion, K. T. Rama Rao said, the developments which were not done in the last 70 years have been completed by the TRS Government in just seven years.
