On the 31st of October, the Chief Minister’s Office issued a notification regarding a Telangana Cabinet meeting, scheduled to be held on the 2nd of November.
The Telangana Cabinet meeting is scheduled at 3:00 P.M., at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad.
According to sources, the meeting is organised to discuss the ongoing issue of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) strike. The TSRTC employees are continuing their strike, which started on the 5th of October and show no signs of compromise so far.
While the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government is planning to hire more private buses, the TSRTC leaders and Joint Action Committee (JAC) plan to conduct Million March, a massive protest against the State Government.
On the 31st of October, the TSRTC leaders conducted a 24 hour Deeksha and made a plan to hold the Million March if the State Government does not agree to the demands of the TSRTC employees.
It has been almost a month since the strike commenced. Neither the State Government nor the TSRTC employees are backing down, making the TSRTC strike a huge issue in Telangana.
Telangana Cabinet ministers and TRS officials would attend the Cabinet meeting scheduled on the 2nd of November.
K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, would chair the Cabinet meeting.
