Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, is scheduled to tour Peddapalli district, Telangana, on the 10th of December.
The visit was planned ahead of a cleanliness drive in Peddapalli. Ms. Soundararajan would reach Pedapalli on the evening of the 10th of December and would take a halt at the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) in Peddapalli and participate in the cleanliness drive on the 11th of December.
The Telangana Governor is also expected to visit the Sabala sanitary napkin manufacturing unit in Peddapalli. The unit was inaugurated in September 2018.
In the past, the Peddapalli region of Telangana implemented several schemes and organised cleanliness drives to create awareness about hygiene and bagged national awards for the same.
On the 7th of December, Telangana Government officials announced the news about the State Governor’s visit to Peddapalli.
The Governor would leave for Peddapalli on the afternoon of the 10th of December.
