In view of the ongoing tension regarding the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) poaching, the TRS Government increased the security of Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy.
Notably, Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy, the MLA from Tandur, filed a first information report (FIR) against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleging them of luring TRS MLAs. Therefore, to secure its MLA, who said to have exposed the agenda of the BJP, trying to poach the TRS MLAs, the State Government enhanced Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy’s security.
Notably, on the 27th of October, the Cyberabad Police registered a case against three people, Mr. Ramachandra Bharati from Delhi and Mr. Simhayajulu from Tirupati, both are said to be temple priests and Mr. Nanda Kumar, a businessman from Hyderabad and a close associate of a union minister. They were associated with the BJP and allegedly offered Rs. 100 crores to four TRS MLAs. The police detained the three of them and registered a case under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 120 B (criminal conspiracy), 171-B (bribery) read with 171-E (punishment of bribery,) 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) read with 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) and section 8 of Prevention of Corruption Act.
Since Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy busted the conspiracy of the BJP to destabilize the TRS Government and filed FIR, he is on the radar of the BJP and is said to have a life threat. Concerned about the situation, the K. Chandrashekar Rao led Government increased his security with the deployment of 4+4 gunmen and providing a bulletproof car to the Tandur MLA.
Meanwhile, the TRS MLAs poaching row at a time of the Munugode by election, scheduled on the 3rd of November, is creating political chaos, and a blame game between the BJP and the TRS.
Furthermore, the Telangana Police have also registered a case and are investigating the matter.
