Puvvada Ajay Kumar, the Transport Minister of Telangana, on the 5th of August, donated ambulances for the State run hospitals during the pandemic crisis.
Started by K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) Mr. Puvvada Ajay Kumar donated an ambulance under the ‘Gift a Smile’ initiative.
Mr. Ajay Kumar gave a cheque of Rs 20.50 lakhs, for the purchase of an ambulance for COVID-19 patients in Telangana.
Besides, KTR and Ajay Kumar several ministers and leaders promised to donate ambulances.
The donation of the ambulances is a part of ‘gift a smile’ initiative taken by KTR on his birthday on the 24th of July.
Following Mr. Rama Rao’s announcement, several ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and senior leaders of the party also announced to donate ambulances.
With this, MLAs and leaders are going to provide 100 ambulances to 32 districts of the State.
