Days after the Jangaon and Nizamabad rural Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) infected with the virus, another MLA Ganesh Gupta from Nizamabad urban tested positive for the virus on the 15th of June.
Mr.Gupta took the Coronavirus tests in a private hospital after he fell sick and was tested positive. At present, he is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderavad.
The officials concerned to handle the Covid-19 situation launched efforts to identify the primary contacts of the MLA.
His family members, officials and other people who worked with him in the past few days were sent to quarantine.
MLA Ganesh is learnt to have met Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy and is suspected to have contracted the virus from him.
It is to be notified that health minister Eatala Rajender’s OSD, Harish Rao’s personal assistant and Bonthu Rammohan’s driver had also tested positive for coronavirus.
In regard to this all the TRS minister are under self quarantine for two weeks and working from home.
People are now worried about going out and prefer staying indoors due to the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
