Till the 27th of October, Telangana reported 2,32,671 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
On the night of the 26th of October, the Telangana Health Department released a media bulletin and updated the figures of the COVID-19 in the State.
According to the bulletin, the State recorded 837 new COVID-19 cases, 1,554 recoveries and 4 deaths.
This is the second consecutive day, the State recorded below 1,000 new COVID-19 cases. On the 26th of October, the State recorded 582 new cases.
The highest number of cases were reported from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) with 185 cases.
With these updates, Telangana has 2,32,671 positive cases, of which 17,890 are active cases, 2,13,466 recovered/discharged cases and 1,315 deceased.
In addition, as many as 21,099 samples were tested for the Novel Coronavirus infection, taking the total tests till date to 41,15,516.
Telangana has a recovery rate of 91.14 % and death rate due to COVID-19 is 0.56 %.
