Telangana Reports 1,378 New COVID-19 Cases With 7 Fatalities

On the 27th of September, Telangana reported 1,378 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Of the total new cases, 13 were from Adilabad, 49 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 254 from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) 39 from Jagtial, 23 from Jangaon, 13 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 21 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 14 from Kamareddy, 78 from Karimnagar, 26 from Khammam, five from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 24 from Mahabubnagar, 47 from Mahabubabad, 25 from Mancherial, 12 from Medak, 73 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 18 from Mulugu, 30 from Nagarkurnool, 53 from Nalgonda, 11 from Narayanpet, 22 from Nirmal, 55 from Nizamabad, 22 from Peddapalli, 38 from Rajanna Sircilla, 110 from Rangareddy, 50 from Sangareddy, 61 from Siddipet, 33 from Suryapet, 22 from Vikarabad, 25 from Wanaparthy, 21 from Warangal Rural, 58 from Warangal Urban and 33 from Yadadri Bhongir.

After reporting 2,000 plus single day cases in the past few days, this is the first time Telangana reported cases below 1,500.

With the 1,378 new cases, the State also reported 7 fatalities and 1,932 recoveries from the Novel Coronavirus.

With this, the overall positive cases climbed to 1,87,211. Of the total, 29,673 are active cases, 1,56,431 are recovered/discharged cases and 1,107 deceased.

Between the 26th and 27th of September, the State conducted 35,465 COVID-18 tests, of which results of 952 samples are still awaited.

So far, Telangana conducted 28,86,334 tests for the Novel Coronavirus infection.

Meanwhile, in Telangana nearly 24,054 patients are under home isolation and 5,619 in institutional care for COVID-19 treatment.

In addition, the State is also recording fast recoveries with 83.55% for the Novel Coronavirus.
