On the 15th of September, Telangana recorded 2,058 new Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
Of the total 2,058 new cases, 20 are from Adilabad, 75 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 277 from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and 52 from Jagtial
The remaining cases were from Jangaon (30,) 28 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 29 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 43 from Kamareddy, 135 from Karimnagar, 103 from Khammam, 24 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 38 from Mahabubnagar, 68 from Mahabubabad, 41 from Mancherial, 38 from Medak, 97 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 36 from Mulugu, 42 from Nagarkurnool, 96 from Nalgonda, 13 from Narayanpet, 42 from Nirmal, 84 from Nizamabad, 48 from Peddapalli, 45 from Rajanna Sircilla, 143 from Rangareddy, 24 from Sangareddy, 106 from Siddipet, 62 from Suryapet, 24 from Vikarabad, 23 from Wanaparthy, 11 from Warangal Rural, 108 from Warangal Urban and 53 from Yadadri Bhongir.
In the past 24 hours, the State also recorded 10 fatalities taking the overall tally to 984. In addition the number of recovery cases in the past 24 hours stood at 2,180.
With these updates, Telangana has 1,60,571 positive cases, of which 30,400 active cases, 1,29,187 are recovered/discharged cases and 984 deceased till date.
The recovery rate of Telangana is at 80.50 % and mortality rate is at 0.60 %.
Meanwhile, between Monday and Tuesday (the 14th to the 15th of September,) the Telangana health officials conducted 51,247 Covid tests.
Reports of 908 samples for COVID-19 test are yet to come.
With this, till the 15th of September, Telangana conducted 22,20,586 COVID-19 tests.
The population of Telangana is 3,72,20,0000.
