The Telangana Health Department, on the night of the 21st of September confirmed 2,166 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to the everyday media bulletin released by the State Health Department, Telangana added 2,166 new COVID-19 cases, 9 fatalities and 2,143 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry of Telangana releases the media bulletin updating the COVID-19 situation at 10:00 P.M., regularly.
As per the data, of the total 2,166 new cases, 21 were from Adilabad, 79 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 309 from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) 21 from Jagtial, 79 each from Jangaon and Gadwal.
The remaining cases were 20 from Kamareddy, 50 from Karimnagar, 127 from Khammam, 87 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 19 from Mahabubnagar, 28 from Mahabubabad, 90 from Mancherial, 43 from Medak, 36 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 147 from Mulugu, 22 from Nagarkurnool, 113 from Nalgonda, 11 from Narayanpet, 22 from Nirmal, 90 from Nizamabad, 50 from Peddapalli, 51 from Siricilla, 166 from Rangareddy, 44 from Sangareddy, 88 from Siddipet, 64 from Suryapet, 24 from Vikarabad, 33 from Wanaparthy, 23 from Warangal Rural, 95 from Warangal Urban and 48 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
With these updates, Telangana has 1,74,774 positive cases, of which 29,649 are active cases, 1,44,073 and 1,052 deceased.
The recovery rate of Telangana from the Novel Coronavirus infection is now 80.82 % from the previous 82.22 %.
Meanwhile, the State health authority conducted as many as 53,690 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours. Of the total tests, 1,528 samples’ results are awaited.
Cumulatively, so far 25,73,005 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Telangana.
The total population of Telangana is at 3,72,20,00,00.
