On the 10th of September, Telangana recorded 2,534 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
Of the total 2,534 cases of the Novel Coronavirus, 23 from Adilabad, 81 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 327 from areas under the GHMC, 65 from Jagtial, 41 from Jangaon, 24 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 29 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 123 from Kamareddy, 107 from Karimnagar, 109 from Khammam, 30 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 38 from Mahabubnagar, 73 from Mahabubabad, 64 from Mancherial, 42 from Medak, 132 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 16 from Mulugu, 62 from Nagarkurnool, 149 from Nalgonda, 16 from Narayanpet, 25 from Nirmal, 90 from Nizamabad, 58 from Peddapalli, 47 from Siricilla, 195 from Rangareddy, 96 from Sangareddy, 103 each from Siddipet, 83 from Suryapet, 22 from Vikarabad, 42 from Wanaparthy, 41 from Warangal Rural, 124 from Warangal Urban and 57 from Yadadri Bhongir.
While the number of COVID-19 cases increased by 2,534, the State reported 2,071 recoveries and 11 fatalities in the past 24 hours.
With this, Telangana has a total of 1,50,176 positive cases, of which 32,106 are active cases, 1,17,143 are recovered/discharged cases and 927 deceased.
Of the total 32,106 active cases, 25,066 patients are under home isolation and 7,040 positive cases are in institutional care.
With everyday recovery cases, Telangana is having a recovery rate of 78 % while the recovery rate of India is 77.83 %.
In addition, the Telangana Health Authority is conducting 50,000 to 60,000 tests for the Novel Coronavirus regularly.
In the past 24 hours, the State health authorities conducted 63,017 COVID-19 tests, of which results of 2,447 samples are awaited.
Overall, so far the Telangana health authorities conducted 19,53,571 tests for the Coronavirus infection.
