As of 7:00 P.M., on the 21st of April, Telangana reported 46 fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released the data according to which Telangana has a total of 919 cases of the Novel Coronavirus. Out of total, 190 have recovered and 23 have passed away till date, whereas, 729 are active cases.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) administration has the highest number of COVID-19 cases.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government took all the measures to prevent the spread of virus and announced strict lockdown till the 7th of May.
The State Government also announced several benefits for the migrant workers, White ration card holders and other underprivileged class of the society to cope up with the lockdown.
The Telangana police is also active and on their toes to supervise all the districts of the State, especially the red zones and containment clusters for the spread of COVID-19 infection.
The State Government is closely monitoring the situation and conducts meetings every day through video conference.
The State Government is also expected to conduct a Cabinet meeting on the 5th of May to decide upon the lockdown and other precautionary measures.
