Telangana Reports 925 New COVID-19 Cases With 3 Deaths

Till the 21st of November, the Telangana Health Department confirmed 2,62,653 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

The State Health Department on the night of the 20th of November, released a media bulletin and confirmed 925 new COVID-19 cases.

According to the bulletin, of the total new cases, the highest cases were from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) 161, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri (91) and Rangareddy (75.)

The remaining cases were 10 from Adilabad, 43 from Bhadradri, 39 from Jagtial, 19 from Jangaon, 15 from Bhupalpally, 11 from Gadwal, 12 from Kamareddy, 52 from Karimnagar, 42 from Khammam, 8 from Asifabad, 12 from Mahabubnagar, 9 from Mahabubabad, 26 from Mancherial, 5 from Medak, 18 from Mulugu, 12 from Nagarkurnool, 46 from Nalgonda, 12 from Nirmal, 11 from Nizamabad, 23 from Peddapalli, 25 from Siricilla, 17 from Sangareddy, 13 from Siddipet, 23 from Suryapet, 14 from Vikarabad, ten from Wanaparthy, 11 from Warangal Rural and 46 from Warangal Urban and 14 from Bhongir.

In addition, the State recorded 3 deaths and 1,367 recoveries from the Novel Coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

With these updates, Telangana has recorded 2,62,653 positive cases, of which 12,070 are active cases, 2,49,157 recovered/discharged and 1,426 deceased.

Between the 19th and the 20th of November, 42,077 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 438 samples were awaited.

So far, the State Health Department conducted a total of 50,92,689 COVID-19 tests.

Telangana has a recovery rate of 94.86 % and fatality rate of 0.54 % from the Novel Coronavirus.
