Till the 18th of November, Telangana reported 2,59,776 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to the released media bulletin by the Telangana Health Department, the State reported 948 fresh COVID-19 cases.
In addition, the State also reported 5 deaths and 1,607 new COVID-19 recoveries.
With these updates, Telangana has 2,59,776 positive cases, 2,45,293 recovered/discharged cases, 13,068 active cases and 1,415 deceased.
On the other hand, between the 16th and the 17th of November, the Telangana Health Department conducted as many as 42,433 tests for COVID-19.
The tests include 18,670 primary contacts and 5,091 secondary contacts.
However, the results of 807 samples are awaited.
So far, the State conducted a total of 49,72,407 sample tests.
The recovery rate from COVID-19 in Telangana stood over 93 % at 94.42 % and fatality rate is at 0.54%.
