Telangana: TSRTC Sets New Plans To Increase Revenue

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) declared a series of advancement measures to increase the revenue and improve the facilities for commuters. The cab aggregation services will provide facilities including combination tickets and cards for bus travels, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, and taxis.
The Principal Secretary of the Transport department and in-charge of TSRTC managing director, Sunil Sharma announced the plans at a task force meeting on Tuesday, July 10. HMRL director N. V. S Reddy and other task force members were present.
The issuing process will be made simpler in order to make it convenient for passengers. The cards issued can be used for Ola or Uber rides also.
According to the RTC, construction of multiplex cinemas, parking and shopping complexes near bus station depots would also generate more revenue. The TSRTC also plans to develop an integrated App for HMRL passengers so they can avail the public bus services.
Feeder buses have already taken to the roads and the TSRTC has also started providing free bus services to passengers for the last mile connectivity to metro stations.
