Telangana’s 10 New COVID- 19 Cases Increases Number To 59

Telangana reported 10 fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID- 19, on the 27th of March.

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, addressed a press conference and confirmed the cases.   With the 10 positive COVID-19 cases, there are a total of 59 cases in Telangana.

Since the cases increased drastically in a day, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) urged the citizens to be self isolated.  Emphasising on the need for social distancing and self quarantine, KCR said the only way to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus is isolation. In regard to this, the Telangana Government arranged several isolation wards, quarantine homes volunteered by the citizens and other isolation arrangements across the State.  Nearly 20,000 people are under surveillance in these voluntarily arranged home quarantine and State run isolation centres.
