Venu Madhav, a Telugu comedian, passed away on the 25th of September, at a Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The news of his demise was confirmed by his brother, Gopal Krishna. He said Venu Madhav passed away at 12:21 P.M., on the 25th of September, while undergoing treatment.
Madhav was admitted to a Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad on the 6th of September and was undergoing treatment for a liver disease. On the 24th of September, his condition was said to be critical and he was shifted to Intensive Care Unit (I.C.U.) He was later put on a ventilator.
According to sources, his body was taken to his residence at HB Colony, Mangapura at 2:00 P.M.
Venu Madhav is survived by his wife Srivani and two children.
Venu Madhav was a renowned name in the Telugu film industry. He started his acting career in the early 1970s. He acted in more than 600 movies and won the Nandi Award for Lakshmi.
K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and others conveyed their condolences to the actor’s family.
Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, also expressed his grief about Venu Madhav’s demise.
