On the 3rd of August, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President A. Revanth Reddy allocated areas to working Presidents of the TPCC.
According to sources, Mr. Revanth Reddy allocated work to all the working presidents, who would be responsible for different areas. As of now, there are four working presidents of the Indian National Congress (INC) in Telangana, Dr. J. Geeta Reddy, Mr. M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, Mr. Mohammad Azharuddin and Mr. Mahesh Goud.
As per an issued order regarding the same, A. Revanth Reddy made Dr. Geeta Reddy in charge of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Nalgonda Member of the Parliament (MP) seats. She would also handle work of the affiliated wings of the INC like the NSUI, the Intellectual Forum, the Research and the Professional wings.
Mr. Anjan Kumar Yadav would handle Nizamabad, Mahbubabad , Medak and Peddapalli MP seats with the Youth Congress, the Minorities and the Fisheries wing.
Md. Azharuddin would be in charge of Adilabad, Zaheerabad and Malkajgiri MP seats along with the party’s Social Media wing.
Mr. Jagga Reddy would be in charge of Khammam, Warangal, Bhongir and Karimnagar MP seats. Besides this, he would also handle the Mahila Congress, the INTUC and the Labour wing.
Mahesh Kumar Goud is going to handle Mahbubnagar, Nagarkurnool and Chevella MP seats along with the Party’s Other Backward Class (OBC,) the Scheduled Caste (SC,) the Scheduled Tribe (ST) and the Seva Dals.
The announcement was made to ensure the smooth and progressive works of the TPCC in Telangana.
