In Hyderabad, outside the office of Telangana Director General of Police (DGP), a transgender group staged a protest.
On the 19th of May, Thursday, the transgender group protesting was demanding the inclusion of a separate “Transgender” category on the official website of TSLPRB jobs.
The protesters contended that other than “Male” and “Female”, there’s no other category for them in the application form, model application form, and user guide manual.
Meanwhile, the Director-General of Police (DGP) PRO Mr. Venkataramana has acknowledged the incident.
