The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on the 27th of April, Wednesday celebrated its 21st Formation Day at Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC) in Hyderabad.  In order to mark the occasion, the whole city has turned pink, with the grand celebration  by TRS cadres and leaders across the  City.

The event started at 11:00 A.M., with the TRS President and the Telangana Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao unfurling the party flag and holding the TRS Plenary meeting. During the TRS plenary meeting, the party passed 11 resolutions for national politics, taking the TRS at a national level  for the 2024 General elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao came down heavily on the Central led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government and said, “Since the Independence, the people in the country has been struggling and they have not got the freedom like they needed.”

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said that there are systems in the country which are not at all good for welfare of the people.  Presenting a bigger role of the TRS in the Indian politics, KCR said, “TRS formed 21 years ago and the party have to think not only about the State people but also about the people in the country.”  He said that though the country has sufficient power supply the Centre is not using even the minimum power supply, which is affecting the farmers, who are not satisfied and are protesting against the PM Narendra Modi led Central Government.

Furthermore, KCR said that the unhealthy environment has taken place in the country.  He clarified that the TRS party would have intervene in these issues to come up with a solution.  Addressing the farmers of Telangana, the State CM said farmers in the State need not worry about the paddy procurement as the Government would take appropriate decision on the same.

Meanwhile, highlighting the political journey of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) it started in 2001 for the struggle of a separate State of Telangana.  The struggle and endurance of the party achieved its goal in 2014, when the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh bifurcated into two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.  In 2014, the TRS took many changes and later emerged as the ruling party after 2104 Assembly polls and since then the TRS is power for the next term where it once again regained the trust of the people for the second time.  Now the party now expected to make its presence felt in national politics in the coming weeks and months.

Meanwhile, for today’s celebration, approximately 2,000 police personnel have been deployed, with traffic restrictions imposed on roads in the vicinity of the plenary venue.

Road users have been advised to take notified alternate routes to avoid inconvenience. The 21st foundation day will be celebrated by TRS across the State as a festival. The party cadre has been asked to hoist the party flag in their respective wards and divisions in all the villages and towns across the State.

Similarly, the TRS NRI wing is also organising the celebrations abroad on the occasion. All arrangements are in place for visitors to the TRS 21st Formation Day at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC) in the presence of limited leaders.  Around 2,500 passes have been issued with bar codes; only those leaders with barcode passes would be allowed inside the hall.

The TRS leaders placed big banners of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and party working president KT Rama Rao in the lane leading to HICC.

Furthermore, the Food committee chairman Mr. M. Krishna Rao said visitors would be provided with different types of delicious food. It would be prepared for about 5,000; there would be separate food stalls for men, women, media and police personnel, said Rao.
