With the success of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government is planning to launch similar schemes for Muslims and minorities.
During a high level meeting, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, said the Telangana Government would launch another scheme similar to the Dalit Bandhu, for other religious communities. The Dalit Bandhu like scheme would be launched giving financial assistance to eligible people of the minority communities and Muslims.
Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the President of the TRS said, “If there is any possibility in the budget the Dalit Bandhu scheme will be implemented across the State. As the Dalits are the most backward community in the society, hence the Government has launched this scheme for their welfare. Other communities need not worry as the government will also include them in a similar financial help scheme.” He further said, “All the religious communities and castes must co-operate with the Government for the success of Dalit Bandhu Scheme.”
Amid the opposition from the minorities and Muslims over the Dalit Bandhu scheme, KCR asked people to cooperate. The Chief Minister of Telangana said, Government launched the Rythu Beema scheme, no Dalit opposed. Therefore the behavior should be same when the TRS is launching Dalit Bandhu scheme.
In addition, the Dalit Bandhu scheme, which has been launched as a pilot project is going to be introduced officially soon. The State Government is also planning to allocate a budget for the Dalit Bandhu scheme in the fiscal year 2022-2023.
