TRS Leaders Celebrate KCR’s Birthday On 17th February, Organize Several Welfare Activities In Telangana

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, turned 67 on the 17th of February. 

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and ministers wished KCR on his birthday and celebrated at Telangana Bhavan.

T. Harish Rao, the Finance Minister of Telangana, K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana and many others extended their wishes on CM KCR’s birthday.

According to the sources, the TRS ministers and leaders planned several welfare activities, blood donation camps, food distribution, saree distribution and others on KCR’s birthday.

Joginapally Santosh Kumar, a Member of Parliament (MP) is planning plantation of one crore saplings across the state in one hour.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna also urged people to take part in the tree plantation program. 

Satyavathi Rathod, the Women and Child Welfare Minister of Telangana said, “I have decided to gift three lakh saplings to KCR garu by planting them in tribal welfare residential schools and women and child welfare homes.”

The Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is also organising a programme at Jala Vihar, Necklace Road where a 30 minute documentary with 3D graphics, highlighting key events in KCR’s life, will be screened.

M. Kalvakuntla Kavitha, the daughter of KCR would offer a gold saree, weighing two kg, to the goddess at Yellamma temple.

Ministers and MLAs would perform special pujas at the GanapathiTemple, the Bangaru Maisamma Templeand the Ujjaini Mahankali Temple.
