Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Dubbaka constituency passed away on the 6th of August.
Mr. Reddy who was also a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) took his last breath at 2:30 A.M. According to sources, he died of cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment for his leg infection.
Reddy, 59 years old was sick after undergoing a knee surgery at a private hospital in Kompally, Hyderabad. Later, he was shifted to Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Gachibowli where he died while undergoing treatment.
The funeral MLA’s final rites would be performed at his village Chittapur of Dubbaka.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Telangana,
K. Chandrasekhara Rao expressed shock and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members of Reddy.
He recalled his association with the departed leader as a fellow activist from his native region.
The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on behald of the Chief Minister said, “CM Shri KCR expressed deep shock over the death of MLA Shri Solipeta Ramalingareddy. The CM recalled that he had a lot in common with him as a movement colleague and a resident of the same area. He expressed profound sympathy to his family members. He prayed to God for peace for his soul.”
KT Rama Rao, Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, state Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy and members of the State Cabinet also expressed their condolences.
