Mr. T. Harish Rao, the Health Minister of Telangana, announced that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government would soon issue a notification for 13,000 posts in the health sector.
On the 11th of May, Wednesday, Mr. T. Harish Rao inaugurated the T-Diagnostics mini-hub and the T-Diagnostic mobile app at Narsingi. He addressed the media and said, “Massive efforts are on to augment medical infrastructure at every level in Telangana.” He further said, enhancing the medical sector in the Telugu State, he announced that soon there would be a 2,000-bed facility at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS,) in addition to the 200-bed Mother and Child Health (MCH) centre at Gandhi Hospital and NIMS. The announcement for the notification came during the inauguration event.
Mr. T. Harish Rao said, “In the last few years, we have established 350 Basthi Dawakhanas, which are providing a wide range of health care services to the urban poor at the local level.” Adding to it, the State Health Minister said, each Basthi Dawakhana in Hyderabad is offering 57 diagnostic services to patients, which would soon be enhanced to 134 diagnostic services in the coming months. He further added that with the launch of 10 more mini-hubs, we have so far launched 20 radiology labs that provide free digital X-ray, 2D-Echo, Ultrasound and ECG services to patients.
The inauguration event was attended by Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy, the Education Minister, MP Mr. Ranjit Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) Mr. Patnam Mahender Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mr. Prakash Goud and other senior health officials.
