Two more Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees died due to the ongoing fight between the TSRTC and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)

On the 14th of November, Ramesh Goud and Nagesh died due to a heart attack and an illness respectively.

Ramesh Goud, a TSRTC employee at Yadagirigutta bus depot, was watching TV late at night on the 13th of November when he suffered a heart attack.  He was immediately rushed to Balaji Hospital in Miryalaguda. However, the doctors at the hospital suggested he be shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment, but on his way to Hyderabad, he died.

Ramesh’s family members blamed K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, for the TSRTC employees’ deaths.

In another such incident, Nagesh, a TSRTC employee at Narayankhed bus depot, also died on the 14th of November, while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad.  Nagesh fell sick after the TRS Government announced the deadline of the 5th of November for the employees to rejoin duty.

He was then admitted to a hospital and was undergoing treatment.  However, on the 14th of November, he died.

On the 13th of November, Avila Naresh, 45 years old, took his life by consuming a pesticide in the early hours of the 13th of November.

He wrote a suicide note in which appealed to the State Government to consider the demands of the TSRTC employees.

The TSRTC employees are on an indefinite strike since the 5th of October.  The strike entered its 41st day on the 14th of November.

Stay tuned for further updates.
