Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, flew to Hyderabad and attended the final rites of Tollywood Superstar Krishna.

Notably, Mr. Veteran Telugu actor Mr. Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, popularly known as Krishna passed away on the 15th of November at 4:00 A.M., Tuesday, in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Mr. Krishna, 80 years old, was undergoing treatment at a private super speciality hospital in Hyderabad, after he suffered a cardiac arrest.  As per sources, Mr. Krishna, the father of Tollywood star Mahesh Babu suffered a cardiac arrest and was admitted to the hospital.  A team of senior multidisciplinary doctors attended to Mr. Krishna and put him on a ventilator.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy paid floral tributes to the late actor, on the 16th of November, Wednesday.  On his arrival, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy reached Padmalaya Studios where Krishna’s mortal remains were kept to allow his fans one last glimpse.  

At the Padmalaya Studious, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy hugged the veteran actor’s son and Tollywood Super Star Mahesh Babu and consoled him.  He offered floral tributes to Krishna before conveying his deepest condolences to the other members of the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, arrangements were being made for the funeral of the veteran actor with full State honours.  Telangana Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) who visited Krishna’s residence on Tuesday, made the announcement to this effect on the 15th of November, Tuesday. 

Furthermore, fans of Mr. Krishna and Mr. Mahesh Babu have been thronging the Padmalaya Studios, where Krishna’s mortal remains were kept, for the last glimpse of their favourite film star.

On the other hand, the last rites were to be performed at the Filmnagar Mahaprasthanam crematorium on the 16th of November, Wednesday.
