Fight Club’s Inspiration Results in Death of Hyderabadi Teen

“Welcome to Fight Club.
The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club.
The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club!
Third rule of Fight Club: someone yells “stop!”, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over.
Fourth rule: only two guys to a fight.
Fifth rule: one fight at a time, fellas.
Sixth rule: No shirts, no shoes.
Seventh rule: fights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.”

It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything : Bradd Pitt from the Fight Club

Remember those lines? Yep! they are from the “Fight Club”. Even though the movie was released in 99, it made a lasting impact over the audience. The trend of illegal fight clubs started all over the world after the movie release. The impact was so deep that even today youth are opting back to the old rules of ‘Fight Club’.

The youth of Hyderabad are always in for the adventure and thrill. First it was the bike clubs organizing illegal races, now it is the fight clubs. According to the Psyche studies, the youth are now, going joining these clubs to add the spark of enthusiasm to their lives.

If you are thinking of joining one, think again!! Because this is not a movie and you are not ‘Brad Pitt’ . More over there is no definite structure for the club here. Here the ‘Eight Rules’ are not worth a bit. There are no rules, no arena and more importantly no umpire. The only thing you or your opponent gets is getting your face bashed. You might win, but the chances of you ending up dead are better.

If you are still not convinced, read this story. Nabiil along with his couple of gang mates went up with a self made plan of wild recreation in the streets of Old City and started their own ‘Fight Club’ . He and his opponent wrestled in the middle of the street while his so called friends were entirely filming the episode. After taking some hard fist punches, Nabiil collapsed on the street and lost his life while being transferred to hospital.

Young Hyderabadi teen died in a street wrestling clash similar to that of Fight Club

The incident took place on 3rd of May, but only came to light recently only after his parents filed complaint with the police. The Mirchowk police are now currently investigating the incident.

According to the sources, all the kids involved are from influential families. Some people are raising concern that many key pieces of evidence were already side tracked as they tried to cover it up. However, the police assured that every possible lead is now being tracked down to solve the case.

It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything.” This line was also abstracted from the same movie, but the thing is we are living in real life. In real life, freedom is not worth a damn if you lose everything.

This is your life and you are losing it one second at a time. Use it for something fruitful‘.
