Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy, the Education Minister of Telangana, led the foundation stone for several development projects.
On the 23rd of January, Sunday, Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy inaugurated development works for various divisions under the Meerpet Municipal Corporation. Projects include drainage works, drinking water and roads construction works in 12, 14, 29, 34 and 35 divisions of the municipal corporation.
For the projects, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government released a fund of Rs. 2.34 crores.
During the event, the Telangana Education Minister directed the authorities to complete the work expeditiously and make it available to the public at the earliest.
Meanwhile, Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy also announced 100 families selected for the benefits of the TRS launched the Dalit Bandhu Scheme. She said, as a part of this scheme, the first installment of Rs. 1,200 crore has been released by selecting 100 families per constituency.
Notably, the Meerpet Municipal Corporation Mayor Ms. Durga Deepu Lal Chauhan, the Deputy Mayor Mr. Thigala Vikram Reddy and other municipal corporators were present on the occasion.
