A road accident was reported in Andhra Pradesh’s Nandyal district, on the night of the 17th of April, Sunday.
According to sources, a speeding jeep collided with a roadside culvert on the highway near Gubagundam in Allagadda Mandal, killing 3 people. Getting into the details, 3 people identified as Venkateshwar, Vijayalakshmi and Samrajyamma died on spot, whereas the other 3 in the car received serious injuries. They were rushed to the Nandyal Government Hospital and are undergoing treatment.
Furthermore, as per the police’s preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the victims were residents of Maidukuru in the Kadapa district. In addition, the accident took place while they were on their way back to Maidukuru after visiting Maddiletaiah Swami temple.
The Nandyal Police registered a case and further investigation is underway.
