Brahmananda Reddy, an industrialist from Nandyal, on the 8th of March, joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)

Brahmananda Reddy, in the presence of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the YSRCP, joined the Party in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. V. Vijayasai Reddy, a Rajya Sabha member and a senior YSRCP leader, was also present at the welcome ceremony of Brahmananda Reddy.

Brahmananda Reddy addressed the media and said, “I was drawn to the YSRCP inspired by YS Jagan’s mass contact initiative, Praja Sankalpa Yatra. He said the Padayatra gave him a deep insight into the policies and welfare-oriented thinking of the YSRCP President. He was particularly impressed by Navaratnalu.”

With the joining of Brahmananda Reddy, the Party has become more powerful, ahead of the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.

Mr. Brahmananda Reddy also mentioned, his goal is to work for the development of the citizens of Andhra Pradesh and follow the footsteps of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Brahmananda Reddy started his political career in 2005 and served as a University Board member.

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections are scheduled between April and May 2019. The major parties contesting the 175 Assembly seats are the YSRCP, the TDP and the JanaSena Party.
