AP Assembly Elections – Pawan Kalyan To Contest In Two Constituencies

Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, on the 19th of March, announced, he will contest the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections in two constituencies.

Pawan Kalyan addressed the media and said, he will contest in two constituencies instead of one. He will contest from Gajuwaka  and Bhimavaram constituencies, in Andhra Pradesh.

Recently, the Party announced its first list of the candidates contesting the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh. In the first list, 32 candidates for the Assembly elections and 4 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections were included.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections. The AP Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on the 11th of April 2019.

The major parties contesting the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh are the JanaSena Party, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)

The results of the elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
