Kanna Lakshminarayana, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Andhra Pradesh, on the 12th of August, wrote a letter to Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP.)
In the letter, Lakshminarayana wrote about the irregularities caused by Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders in Karumanchi village of Tangutur mandal, Prakasam.
Informing about one such irregularity, Lakshminarayana said YSRCP leaders S. Vijayabhaskar Reddy and S. Ramana are using the land provided for the development of villagers for their personal use.
The Village Development Committee bought 24 acres of land worth Rs. 25 lakhs to construct a water tank for the villagers. The money used for the property was collected by the villagers.
According to the letter, the YSRCP leaders are using some extent of this land to construct a private water plant at the site, which is illegal.
Kanna further added he wrote the letter to the AP CM as the concerned authorities are not taking any action even after filing a complaint against the YSRCP members. He said, “We are bringing the issue to CM notice as there is no response from the authorities even after giving the complaint.”
Kanna Lakshminarayana asked Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to take strict action against the members and demolish the illegally constructed water plant.
