Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on the 28th of November, conducted an aerial survey of Cyclone Nivar affected areas.

Mr. Reddy along with the Andhra Pradesh Home Minister M. Sucharita and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy conducted an aerial survey in districts like Chittoor, Nellore, and Kadapa.

Chittoor, Nellore and Kadapa are the worst affected areas from the recent Cyclone Nivar.

Mr. Reddy arrived at Renigunta Airport from Vijayawada to assess crop damage and other damages.

After completing the aerial survey, CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting with the concerned officials. The Chief Minister`s review meeting was attended by the district collectors and other senior officials from Nellore, Chittoor and Kadapa district in Tirupati.

The aerial survey came a day after the Union Cabinet meeting. During the meeting, Mr. Reddy asked the concerned officials of the Agriculture Department to complete the enumeration of crop loss by the 15th of December and provide compensation to flood victims by the December end.
