Andhra Pradesh has reported 2,560 active cases of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19,) with 222 fresh cases.
On the 18th of November, Monday, the Telugu State reported 222 new cases, 2 deaths and 275 recoveries. The cases were confirmed through a health bulletin released on Thursday evening.
According to the media bulletin, the cases were confirmed after conducting 31,473 sample tests for the Wuhan virus. With this, the State conducted a total of 3,00,97,888 tests till date.
In addition, of the total 222 new cases, the highest were from Guntur 38 cases, followed by Visakhapatnam with 35 cases, Krishna 31 cases and lowest from Vizianagaram 2 cases and Anantapur with 3 cases.
Of the total 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, 5 reported new cases in single digits, whereas 8 districts had new cases in double digits.
With this, Andhra Pradesh has 20,70,738 active cases, of which 20,53,755 are recovered cases, 2,560 are active cases and 14,423 are deceased cases.
