The Andhra Pradesh Government led by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) released the list of candidates for the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) Integrated courses. 

On the 29th of September, Thursday, Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana, the Andhra Pradesh Education Minister released the list of selected candidates for the six year integrated course at the RGUKT, Andhra Pradesh.

It is to be noted, the RGUKT, Eluru District, Andhra Pradesh has issued a notification seeking applications for admissions in two year PUC and four year B.Tech courses for the academic year 2022-23.  The notice was issued on the 1st of September and after the scrutiny of the applications, the Andhra Pradesh Education Department released the list of selected candidates for the aforementioned courses. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana praised Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.  He said, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has given more importance to the RGUKT, which was started by the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister the late Mr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.  Mr. Botsa Satyanarayan also announced the decision to open a new campus of the RGUKT, in Ongole district, Andhra Pradesh he said,  “A new Ongole campus has been opened.  Admissions are done transparently on the basis of 10th class marks.”

Meanwhile, close to 77% of those who studied in government schools secured seats in the RGUKT for the 2022-2023 academic year.  The first 20 ranks were achieved by students of government schools and model schools. 

Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana further said, 400 seats have been allotted to the Economically Backward Class (EBC) quota.
