The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government is scheduled to launch YSR Zero Interest scheme for the Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas (DWCRA) associations.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 24th of April, would launch the YSR Zero Interest Loan scheme which was pending for a long time. In regard to this, the YSRCP Government decided to deposit a sum of Rs. 1,400 crores in the accounts of the DWCRA societies and associations and self help groups (SHG.)
The new scheme would benefit approximately 93 lakh women and 8.78 lakh DWCRA societies across the State.
The new scheme would benefit approximately 93 lakh women and 8.78 lakh DWCRA societies across the State. The State Government’s YSR Zero Interest Loan scheme would help nearly 11.50 lakh poor students of colleges by paying full fees.
The SHGs in rural areas would receive benefits of Rs. 975 crores and SHGs in urban areas would get Rs. 425 crores. On the 20th of April, the YSRCP Government released an amount of Rs.766 crores for the implementation of the scheme.
While Mr. Reddy would launch the scheme on the 24th of April, he directed the officials to release the funds of Rs. 1,400 crores to the bank accounts by the 27th of April (Monday.)
