The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) would provide special bus services to the citizens of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)
The special bus services are organised in view of Sankranti celebrations from the 9th of January to the 20th of January.
To avoid any kind of chaos, the RTC officials announced reservation and online ticket facilities.
According to the RTC officials, approximately 333 buses were allocated from Hyderabad to Guntur previously. However, with the increase in the number of passengers, the State Government increased the number of buses to 562.
Sumanth R. Adoni, the Regional Manager of APSRTC, said, “We are providing concession by 40 % on special services, which will benefit the travelers.” He further said, “If the congestion increases, we are ready to increase the services and also want the people to take advantage of the 40 percent concession offered.”
Sankranti would be celebrated in the State from the 14th of January to the 17th of January. On account of the festival, schools and colleges would be closed on the 10th of January and would reopen on the 20th of January.
