Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) criticised the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
After his two day visit to Visakhapatnam, Naidu conducted a press meet and addressed the media. During the press meet, Chandrababu Naidu said the YSRCP ‘reversed’ all the good work done by the TDP Government during its tenure. Naidu expressed his disappointment over how the YSRCP is destroying AP under its governance.
Naidu also said the YSRCP, instead of doing good for the citizens of AP, is playing ‘revenge politics’ against the TDP.
He justified his statement by referring to a recent ban on some news channels, imposed by the YSRCP Government.
Naidu said, “We took all efforts in terms of developing the State and taking care of the people through a slew of welfare schemes. The State was at infant stage when we lost in the elections. Though there is an element of sadness with the outcome of the elections, we are sure to emerge stronger in the next polls.”
Chandrababu Naidu, on the 10th and 11th of October, visited Visakhapatnam and conducted several conferences and meetings with TDP leaders, workers and activists. The visit was said to be a step to strengthen the TDP by chalking out an action plan.
Naidu is scheduled to visit Srikakulam on the 21st and 22nd of October.
