Tollywood actors like Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu and Jr. N.T.R., donated a huge amount of money to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Relief Fund.  On the 1st of December, the actors donated the money to the CM relief fund for helping flood affected victims.

Mr. Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter handle and announced the donation of Rs. 25 lakh.  His tweet read, “Pained by the wide spread devastation & havoc caused by floods & torrential Rains in Andhra Pradesh. Making a humble contribution of Rs.25 lacs towards Chief Minister Relief Fund to help aid relief works. @ysjagan @AndhraPradeshCM.”

Mr. Mahesh Babu also donated an amount of Rs. 25 lakhs and tweeted, “In light of the devastating floods in Andhra Pradesh, I would like to contribute 25 lakhs towards the CMRF. Request everyone to come forward and help AP during this hour of crisis. @ysjagan @AndhraPradeshCM.”

Meanwhile, Jr. NTR and his production, Geetha Arts donated an amount of Rs. 10 lakh to the Andhra Pradesh relief fund.

The official handle of Geetha Arts posted a tweet regarding same, which read, “We have made a humble donation of Rs 10 lakh to @AndhraPradeshCM relief fund to help with the relief measures in flood-affected areas of #TirupatiRains.”

In the past free days, the Andhra Pradesh coastal regions including Krishna district, suffered huge property damage and disturbance due to the heavy to very heavy rainfall.  In addition, on the 1st of December, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issues a cyclone (Jawad) alert in Andhra Pradesh.  The coastal regions of the State is expected to witness heavy to extreme rainfall due to the cyclone, on the 4th of December. The IMD and State official, urged fisherman and people of coastal region not to venture out without any emergency need.
