Covid-19 Andhra Pradesh Updates: 1,322 New Cases Reported Till 5:00 PM On July 6
Andhra Pradesh reported another big spike in the cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
As of 5:00 P.M., on the 6th of July, new cases of the Novel Coronavirus recorded in the the last few hours stood at 1,322 .
Till the 5:00 P.M.,of the 6th of July, Andhra Pradesh reported a total of 20,019 cases with 239 death cases.
Out of the total, 10,860 are active cases and 8,920 are cured/discharged cases.
In the last 24 hours, the Andhra Pradesh Medical department conducted a total of 19,798 sample tests.
With the additional 19,798 tests, Andhra Pradesh conducted 10,33,852 sample tests for the deadly virus.
Meanwhile, 7 new deaths were reported from Anantapur (1,) Guntur (1,) Chittoor (1,) Krishna (1,) Visakhapatnam district (1) and Srikakulam (2.)
Out of 1,322 new cases, district wise number of positive cases reported are in Anantapur (142,) Chittoor (120) Kurnool (136,) Guntur (197,) East Godavari (171,) Visakhapatnam (101,) rishna (55,) Kadapa (96,) Prakasam (38,) West Godavari (106,) Nellore (41,) Vizianagram (24) and Srikakulam (36.)
Remaining cases were from different states (56) and countries (3.)
The recovery rate of Andhra Pradesh from the illness is also better at 45.04 %.
Whereas, the average growth rate of the Novel Coronavirus in the State is 5% and mortality rate is 1.24%.
