COVID-19 – TDP President Chandrababu Naidu Lashes Out At YSRCP Govt

Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) conducted a video press meet and lashed out at the Andhra Pradesh Government, for not releasing facts about the Novel Coronavirus in A.P.

During the press meet through a video call, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, said the State Government could not hide facts about the disease and the situation in A.P.

Mr. Naidu said the situation and the disease is serious and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) should show some responsibility and release all the details, dos and don’ts during the situation.

Demanding complete transparency of the facts and figures, Chandrababu Naidu said, “Why does not the Government give testing details of COVID -19 in the State. Collectors are not allowing doctors to reveal the details, this is unethical and harmful to the society.”

Explaining the plight of the farmers in the State, Naidu demanded the state government to utilize the Market Stabilisation Fund to purchase the produce including paddy, banana, papaya, mango, guava, fish  and other products.

Stating the increased numbers of A.P., COVID-19 cases as a dangerous alarm, Mr. Naidu criticised Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., for his negligence towards the situation.

Chandrababu Naidu said, the ego and inexperienced attitude of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy could be harmful for the State, especially during a pandemic illness.

TDP President Naidu suggested Mr. Reddy to conduct an all party meeting and discuss the steps to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

Chandrababu Naidu also asked for financial assistance of Rs. 5,000 to the poor and underprivileged class of the State during this hardship.

 

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh reported a total of 303 positive cases of COVID-19 and 3 deaths till date.
