The Inter Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) is going to visit Andhra Pradesh on the 4th of May, to inspect the situation due to the pandemic illness, the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The IMCT would review the ground level situation in the State and submit a detailed report to the Central Government.
The report would also comprise of the precautionary measures taken by the State Government, the implementation of the lockdown, processing of the Novel Coronavirus tests and the treatment of the COVID-19 patients.
The team would visit all the red zone and orange zone areas of the State.
Meanwhile, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, asked the people to not discriminate against the COVID-19 patients.
Andhra Pradesh recorded a total of 1,403 cases of the Novel Coronavirus. Out of the total 1,051 were active cases, 321 recovered/ discharged cases and 31 deceased.
