E.S.L. Narasimhan, the Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, on the 1st of June, will host an Iftar party at Raj Bhavan, Telangana.
K. Chandrashekar Rao(KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) are among the guests who will attend the party.
Political leaders of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) will also be at the party.
According to sources, after the Iftar party, KCR and Jagan will deliberate about the pending issues and projects in Telangana and AP respectively with Mr. Narasimhan. The matter of bifurcation of the institutions in Telangana and AP, as stated in the Ninth Schedule of the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, will also be discussed.
L.V. Subrahmanyam, the Chief Secretary of AP and Shailendra Kumar Joshi, the Chief Secretary of Telangana, will also discuss certain issues pertaining to AP and Telangana respectively with E.S.L. Narasimhan.
