On the 24th of August, JanaSena Party members filed a complaint with the cyber crime police in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, against the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)

The complaint was filed against the social media wing of the YSRCP for negative promotion of the JanaSena Party and its President, Pawan Kalyan on all social media platforms.

Sankar Goud, the person in charge of the JanaSena Party in Telangana registered a complaint with the Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police.   

On the other hand, Pothina Mahesh, a leader of the JanaSena Party filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police in Vijayawada.

Hari Prasad, the personal Political Secretary of Pawan Kalyan said, “Some people are intentionally making false propaganda against Sri Pawan Kalyan and the JanaSena Party.  As per the suggestion of the Party President we have maintained restraint for sometime. But the malicious campaign reached its peak as they are propagating as per their imaginations and acting in deprivation.  With an intention to tarnish the image at the budding stage of the Party which is going to people, they are resorting to false and baseless campaign that he (Pawan Kalyan) is trying to convert Rs. 2,000 crores black money into white on the eve of his birthday.  The Party is strongly condemning the campaign by official page of YCP social media. The Party will not hesitate to take legal action against the unscrupulous person who are making false campaign against the JanaSena Party (sic.)”

Sankar Goud said, the YSRCP social media wing is commending false propaganda through social media platforms, following which the JanaSena Party took legal actions against the YSRCP.

Both, the Vijayawada Cyber crime Police and the Telangana Cyber Crime Police registered a case and initiated an investigation for the same.
