Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 11th of October, made remarks about the reverse tendering for the Polavaram Project.
Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, who is against the reverse tendering, said before moving ahead with the project construction, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) must prove the allegations it made against the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)
The Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government alleged the TDP, the previous Government of Andhra Pradesh, of corruption and irregularities in the tenders.
The YSRCP officials said the Telugu Desam Party misused the money of the citizens of Andhra Pradesh and was involved in corruption.
According to sources, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana is scheduled to meet Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Water Resource Minister of India, on the 18th of October. During the meeting, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana is expected to explain his point against the YSRCP and the reverse tendering for the Polavaram Project.
