The funeral of Kodela Siva Prasad Rao, the former Andhra Pradesh (AP) Assembly Speaker and a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) will be held on the 18th of September.
The funeral will be held in his hometown, Narasaraopet, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh.
On the 16th of September, Kodela Siva Prasad Rao tried to hang himself to death and later, died at the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital while receiving treatment. His body was sent to the Osmania Mortuary for an autopsy.
According to the postmortem report, Kodela died because he tried to hang himself, the Andhra Pradesh Police and the Telangana Police launched an investigation regarding the death of Kodela Siva Prasad Rao. The inquiry will be based on the postmortem reports signed by the doctors of Osmania Hospital.
After postmortem at the Osmani Mortuary on the 16th of September, the body of Kodela Siva was moved to the NTR Trust Bhavan for people to pay their last respects. TDP leaders, activists and admirers of Kodela can come and pay their last respects to the Leader.
Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP, leaders like L. Ramana, Nandamuri Balakrishna and others paid their homage to Kodela.
On the 17th of September, the body of Kodela Siva Prasad was shifted to the TDP office in Guntur around 8:00 A.M.
Later in the day, around 4:00 P.M., his body will be shifted to Narasaraopet for last respects.
The last rites of Mr. Kodela will be performed on the 18th of September.
